Vision and Values
Bardic Inspiration’s mission is to entertain and add cultural value to Michigan communities by performing beautiful, engaging vocal music while also providing a rewarding experience for its artists. We feel that life’s activities can be celebrated more meaningfully with song and fellowship.
The five core values below support this mission:
PROFESSIONALISM
Bardic Inspiration consists of professional musicians who entertain their audiences and fulfill the wishes of customers who hire us. As such, all interactions between the artists and audiences, and customers will be conducted with a high level of courtesy and professionalism.
SKILL
All Bardic Inspiration artists are professionally trained vocal musicians skilled at reading music and producing beautiful vocal sound. Artistic skill is reviewed annually to ensure that high standards are maintained.
DILIGENCE
Bardic Inspiration artists are expected to learn music prior to group rehearsals, so rehearsals can focus on musicality. All groups assigned to event performances rehearse together with the director prior to ensure consistent high quality.
ARTISTRY
By insisting on a high level of skill and diligence, Bardic Inspiration can imbue each musical work with interpretation, and expression which will enchant and entertain audiences.
REVELRY
Bardic Inspiration artists love what they do, and approach each performance with a sense of celebration. Their primary objective is to pass this joy along to their audiences with every performance.
